Sherricka Fields Jones began her career in mortgage lending and soon after became Vice President to the oldest African-American investment bank in the country. Sherricka began a decade of service to the city of Shreveport as Manager of Finance and Administration for the Shreveport Regional Airport and received promotions during her tenure.  She served under four Mayors in positions including as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

She received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Business Administration, with a minor in Economics from Centenary College in 2005. She received her Master of Business Administration degree from LSUS in 2012. Sherricka is Series 7 and 66 licensed through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).  She is an Investment Adviser Representative. She is also a Louisiana life insurance licensed representative with PFS Investments.  In her career with public finance, she has worked with over $2.5 billion debt financing as an investment banker and in municipal budget and financial administration. 

She is co-owner of HomeTeam Inspection Service of Shreveport Bossier a 30 year old Fortune 500 franchise company that is #1 in category. HomeTeam serves Shreveport Bossier and surrounding areas with residential and commercial building inspections.  

For the past twenty-five years, Sherricka always finds time for sharing her love for dance and performance arts. She and her husband, Vernon Jones, own Dance Arts Academy, where she continues to teach ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance to hundreds of children  and adults of various ages and skill.

Sherricka is the recipient of several awards attributable to her strong financial acumen, standards of excellence, and service. She is the proud mom of two sons and one daughter.
